Even God Rested on the Seventh Day - Simple Sayings by Alfred
The good book says that “And God Rested on the Seventh Day”
Many temples have a time fixed during the day when the Deity is allowed rest and no visitors are allowed
So Rest is a must for all of us
Now what do you consider as rest? Here are some of the ways I rest:
- Listen to Music
- Watch a movie
- Have a drink
- Talk to a friend
- Play with my grand daughter, Inaaya
- Read a book – Kindle these days, otherwise, Audible
Finally, sleep - Want to integrate some of these into my rest pattern
- Cell phone on silent, DND, no notifications, focused settings,
- Away from the email and the limited social media sites I respond to
Need to find better ways and more innovative way to Rest besides the common required Sleep.
